Fees & Rebates

Please contact Kylie for an up-to-date fee schedule. Fees are set below the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi) recommended schedule of fees (AAPi recommended fee is $315 per session, current to June 2025). Please note, this is not a Bulk Billing Practice.

Payment is due in full at the end of each session. EFTPOS facilities are available. Cash payments in the exact amount can be accepted.

You do not need a referral to attend therapy. You can choose to contact Kylie directly and pay privately.

Many individuals are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) through their GP. MHCP’s provide up to 10 sessions per calendar year that the client is entitled to receive rebates for. There are out of pocket expenses, the Medicare rebate does not cover the full cost of the appointment. Please see your GP regarding eligibility for a MHCP. Clients need to have a valid referral from their doctor prior to the session that they want to claim. The letter of referral must accompany all Mental Health Care Plans.

Please note: Medicare and Private Health Insurance rebates are not available for most assessments of learning and cognition or reports.

Private Health Fund
Rebates may apply for clients. Rebates vary between providers and clients need to check their own respective policy. Clients cannot use private health insurance and Medicare simultaneously (e.g., claiming for a GAP fee). 

Cancellation Policy
Please note that at least 24 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Failure to provide at least 24 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of the appointment. Medicare and Private Health Insurance rebates are not applicable for cancellation fees.
